Coronavirus: L.A. County reported 1,502 more cases and 31 more deaths, Jan. 19

Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,502 more cases of the coronavirus since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,665,365 as of Thursday, Jan. 19.

Officials reported 31 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Wednesday for a total of 35,079 deaths since tracking began.

There were 40 fewer patients since Wednesday, bringing the total number of people hospitalized with Coronavirus to 918.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 21,358,478 doses administered.
